Born in Naples in 1946 Sanzone was a graduated of the Fine Art Academy in Naples. Although trained in the modernist aesthetic, he eschud the style his own father adapted as an artist and reached back to the Italian Impressionist earlier in the 20th century. Sanzone is the third generation of Neapolitan artists and now has children who also have embraced an artistic career.
His most successful painting depict the Amalfi landscape and the colorful villages and towns that dot the coastline. See less
