Crafted of the finest reclaimed teak, this Caned Sofa is an exquisite British Colonial Design. The large sofa features designed cane backrest and a hand-woven cane seat. There is a small tear in the caning, shown in the photos, but it remains usable and sturdy. A wonderful piece as is, or a great candidate for re-caning if you prefer a fresh look. Reversible brown velvet cushion included. Heritage find for a modern home. Purchased in the 1970’s in Indonesia, this design gives you a variety of ways to style it in any setting. The nobility of the RAJ is apparent in this piece. The aesthetics are Royal Indonesian - dress it up or dress it down for the modern or boho chic home.
