This gouache on paper painting of a California Poppy in orange, red, and yellow is by contemporary Mendocino/Bay Area artist, Gaetan Caron (b. 1964), co-founder of Lost Art Salon in San Francisco. Inspired by the artist’s surroundings and life in the mountains inland Mendocino County, Northern California.
Initialed lower left.
