The interior features four identical drawers, two of which are fitted with functional locks with keys and two with brass knobs only. This space is completed by five compartments and a large lower niche.
The chest is locked by two original, functional double-hook locks with brass keys and oval escutcheons.
This rare piece of furniture, assembled with dovetail joints, features a bronze handle on each side with a stop for easy transport.
The perimeter of the base is embellished with grooved and corbelled molding.
