Pastel signed José Frappa and dated 1892

José Frappa (1854-1904) was a French painter and ceramist.
Very active in various French art associations, from 1876 he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes, winning several medals and commendations, then took part in the Salon du Champs de Mars and various world exhibitions.
He specializes in small paintings, with meticulous detail, but will also present enamelled objects, terracotta \.
