Handwoven in wool circa 1910-1920, this 3x6 Kilim runner is an antique Persian bag—a collectible textile once used by nomadic tribes in their daily life.
On the Design:
Connoisseurs will note this piece has been opened up, similar to other tribal flatweaves and textiles of its kind. Its upper half is solid beige, and its lower half enjoys rich red, brown and blue geometric patterns with a slight textural element in its motifs.
Condition:
This bag runner further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its narrow size is especially suitable for wall-hanging projects, table runner projects, and similar decorative applications in addition to flooring, too.
