A rare Art Deco animal sculpture in opalescent molded pressed glass depicting a heron, a bird that evokes a certain poise, assurance and serenity.
This magnificent piece was conceived and created by designer Charles Graffart.
Period: Art Deco
Circa: 1935
Dimensions: Height :12cm x Length :8,5cm x Width : 8,5cm
Base thickness : 3cm
Charles Graffart was a versatile Belgian artist born in 1863.
He is credited with a wide range of artistic works, including paintings, prints, sculpture, watercolor drawings and objects.
He collaborated with Val-Saint-Lambert in the early '30s, when it launched a range of molded glassware, the Luxval range, seeking to compete with Czechoslovakia which, after the Wall Street crash of the early '30s, was then beginning to invade the market with more democratic items with great success.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
