Pair of Aesthetic Movement silver plate teapots by Meriden Company, Model # 1899, dated 1886. These have not been polished. Finish is a combination of shiny silver plate and textured, matte silver plate. The carved bas-relief bands appear to have Greco-Roman figurines and Lions top the lids. Exceptional work.
The larger pot stands 12" tall x 10.5" across from spout to handle's end x 5.5" across. the smaller pot is 11.5" tall x 10" x 5"
