Heise, Copenhagen silversmith in … Read more This marvelous antique sauce or bouillon ladle is created in gorgeous sterling silver by Christian F. Heise, Copenhagen silversmith in production from 1904-1932. This beautiful ladle has is hand hammered with a graceful shield shaped end that has beading around the edges and down the center and has a lip that assists with pouring sauce, cream or other liquids onto the food in the right amounts. Hallmarks are: Script F surrounded by dots=Frederik Fabritius [1787-1823], CFH=Christian F. Heise, Three Tower mark 31:Copenhagen sterling in 1931. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from end to end=5-1/4 inches, Bowl width at widest=1-1/2 inches. This marvelous sauce ladle has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent antique condition, free from damage or repairs. There is light surface scratching, commensurate with age, use and polishing, but they do not diminish the beauty or usability of this lovely ladle. It is the perfect addition to your serving collection, particularly if you like the Scandinavian style. See less
