The actual objects--flowers/wings etc are composed in the enlarger. The images are basically unique although because I have worked in series some pieces are what I term "similar". Light is projected through the object to reveal the beautiful complex structures. I seldom repeat an image exactly. These are not reproductions or digital images.
I have worked with light directly for many years. It has been my love and fascination with the purity of photography as a light medium. It has always seemed a little ironic that I have spent years creating my art in complete darkness. See less
