Furniture in two elements, composed in the lower part of a chest of drawers whose movement facade is richly ornamed. Three drawers from different heights are decorated with marquetry on a developed mahogany tackle background. On each drawer, an important symmetrical composition of light wood, shapes, foliage and flowers. This set is surrounded by two lemon nets.
The print is made using branch handles with openwork plate, made up of scrolls and foliage.
In the center of each drawer, a large finely carved entry underlines the passage of the key (posterior) activating the original lock, in operating condition. On each side of the drawers, we observe two important events in the shape of S. These are also adorned with beautiful inlays of light wood forming plant patterns and oval friezes. The sides of this chest of drawers are also decorated with a marquetry composition with vase and plants.
This dresser has in the lower part of an ordered crosspiece embellished with a sculpture appearing an ancient profile in an medallion. The whole rests on two feet claws blackened at the front.
The upper part is made up of a glass door, the setting of which is encrusted with a rosary of flowers. On each side, the cut clovers, the top of which is in basket handle, encrusted with plant patterns. Inside, we find two wooden shelves blackened like the rear and the bottom. This high element rests on a slightly curved protrusion base and is topped with a cornice in gendarme hat with marked hollow part, protruding in probe up and inlaid.
This rare piece of furniture is in excellent condition after restoration in our workshop. However, it should be noted a central crack on each side of the dresser. Time testimony and a guarantee of authenticity, these brands remain visible.
In addition to its quality and the taste brought to its manufacture, this piece of furniture delighted with its ornaments and refinement. It also has an ideal dimensional.
