  • "Hi Marilyn – So 43” wide (back top of sofa to the front of the sofa). The length of the sofa needs 90” of space. The curvature of the top of the sofa down to the back leg is about 10” – 12”. So if you were to push the sofa directly up against a wall, we are measuring roughly 10 – 12” of space from the wall, across the floor to the back leg of the sofa, 43” full width from wall to edge of sofa in front and 90” in length across. Hope this helps! "

  • "Thanks for re-checking. Do I understand you correctly -- that from the top of the back of the sofa (the part that would be flush with the wall if up against a wall) the sofa would project from the wall a total of 40 inches". The back legs of the sofa would not touch the wall --- how far away from the wall would the legs project? Sorry about all the questions but the space we would have for this sofa is somewhat constricted so we want to be sure about the fit before making a bid. Thanks so much!"

  • "The depth is actually 40" ; we remeasured. Inside seat depth is 24""

  • "Hi Marilyn, Thank you for your interest. The overall depth listed as 44" takes into account the full depth for fitting in a room, including the slope of the back. The actual depth from the bottom back to the front is 40" and the inside depth (seating) is 32" approximately. Hope that helps!"

  • "Can you please verify the depth as 44 inches. Thank you."
