Like the columns with female figures on the erechtheion in the acropolis of athens, these patinated bronze caryatids support a fluted planter with an openwork cane motif at the top. On either side of the plant receptacle, an arched garland of flowers, leaves, ribbons, a laurel wreath, a quiver and a caduceus. Circa: 1860 dim: w: 57cm, d: 33cm, h: 55cm.
