The painting centers around a female figure standing in the midst of translucent patterned yellow and white flowers.
This is a lavishly dressed woman even though she wears a streamlined white summer dress. With only the upper half of her showing, the 3/4 length portrait is intriguing in itself. Her green suede gloves are an interesting choice, she has a flare for fashion. Her skin and hair are beautifully rendered.
The brushstrokes are soft, and precise, in some areas while gently expressive in others. The overall colors create a bold, dynamic, and very striking portrait painting.
The color palette, composition, and details of this piece are typical of my portrait paintings from this collection.

The Flemish Renaissance, Mughal portraiture, Classicism and Cubism are primary references for my work. The subject always begins in the representational form with a contrasting background. Through layers of paint and glazing, the work evolves into the abstract or remains representational. Although divergent in process, each painting unfolds from a deeply intuitive, personal and imaginative narrative. Whether portrait, figurative, still life or landscape, the true subject is always; beauty, form, color and spacial relationships.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
