Hand-knotted in wool, this 3x4 Baluch Afghan rug of the 1950s is the latest to enter Rug & Kilim’s Antique & Vintage collection.
On the Design:
The piece carries tribal patterns in prevailing tones of red & blue. Connoisseurs will admire the minaret representations along one of the inner borders followed by imagery of trees with attached swings in pink & bold tones of red. The borders further intensify the look with traditional patterns alternating in alike colorways with prominent touches of brown.
