Hand-knotted in wool, this 2x4 Baluch Afghan rug of the 1950s is the latest to enter Rug & Kilim’s Antique & Vintage collection.
On the Design:
The vintage Baluch rug carries tribal patterns encased in octagons relishing black, white, green, blue & red. The field patterns are cocooned with borders alternating in geometric designs & traditional motifs for an exalted nomadic appeal.
