This unique Louis XVI Chest of drawers dates back to around 1780. The two drawer commode stands on slender legs and has a pretty brown-reddish marble top. The two drawers and the sides have beautifully decorated fields with maple bird’s eye veneer which are framed by kingwood veneer. The commode has its original bronze fittings.
It comes refinished with a shellac hand polish.
