these pretty candleholders / torchieres are mounted as a lamp to be easily used in modern interiors.
the gadrooned was, was with gadroon rests on a tripose base with rock style decorations on claw feet / lion's paw
from the 19th century but in a late 17th century early 18th century style, these beautiful candlesticks are classically inspired and correspond perfectly to the louis xiv style.

the louis xiv style is a furnishing style covering more or less the period of the reign of louis xiv (1661 to 1715).
