This wooden tansu, from circa 1910, is a fine example of traditional mobile wardrobes in Japan. Three wide drawers at the top are followed by a medium-sized drawer on the left, and the two small drawers on the right.
The cabinet consists of two separate parts.

with its clean lines, beautifully weathered appearance and handy storage space, this Tansu will add an Oriental touch to any kind of interior.
