Traditional Japanese tansu from the Meiji Era, circa 1870-1890.
This cabinet has storage in the upper part with two sliding doors and five drawers at the bottom.
Beautifully grained and aged wood.
The drawer handles are missing and have been replaced with rope.
A beautiful piece that exudes authenticity and will add an Oriental touch to your interior.
