Some goes into the restoration process to increase its value, if we think it needs that. All restoration work is explained on this 'condition details' page if performed. This beautiful desk is near brand new condition, possibly it's been kept in a very quite room and used occasionally in its past. When look closely, just a few very minor imperfections can be seen. Frame and the legs are very sturdy no wobbling, drawers work smooth, desk top almost spotless. We worked on the wood surface of the desk in details overall. less
