Offered here is a Hand Carved Freshwater Catfish Decoy signed by Bob Foster. Bob Foster, an Iowan, was born in … more Offered here is a Hand Carved Freshwater Catfish Decoy signed by Bob Foster. Bob Foster, an Iowan, was born in 1937 in West Des Moines. Bob is a member of the Great Lakes Fish Decoy Assn (GLFDA) and the NFLCC. He styled his carvings after DFD (Duluth Fishing Decoys) being mentored by his friend, the late David Perkins, well-known Minnesota decoy designer and carver. Bob Foster started carving in early 1990s. He uses cedar, pine, and any other available wood, finishing off each decoy with glass eyes and a carved open mouth. Heavy gauge metals are designed into fins and each decoy, when completed, is painted in acrylics and given a very heavy coat of varnish. This catfish measures 12 ½ inches with a heart-shaped finned tail. He has yellow glass eyes and metal whiskers. Metal loops at top are for securing fishing line. He’s quite nice. Sales tax for all states that require it must be added and is calculated on purchase price including shipping and handling. less

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
