Piotr Marmanov was born in 1944 in Luhansk, Ukraine. He is a graduate of the Luhansk Fine Art School (1962). … Read more Piotr Marmanov was born in 1944 in Luhansk, Ukraine. He is a graduate of the Luhansk Fine Art School (1962). Marmanov continued his education at the Kharkiv Academy of Fine Arts. After 6 years of study he graduated from the Academy in 1968. He is a member of the All - Union Artist Association. Having participated in regional, national, and international art shows and exhibitions in Kiev, Moscow, and Paris, Marmanov has exhibited in the U.S. since the early 2000's.
Marmanov has had solo exhibitions in the Ukraine, Baltimore, Maryland, Carmel, California, New York City and as part of a group show of post-soviet artists in Chicago at the Kamp Gallery.
