Seguso ceiling lamp in Murano glass, Italy, 1960s
It belonged to my great-grandparents and is intact and in working order. Very slight signs of wear.
It has a diameter of 45 cm.
Seguso is one of the oldest families on the island of Murano dedicated to the art of Venetian glass, known for the production of objects such as vases, cups, chandeliers, and custom designs. Seguso works have been created for European royal families, the Vatican, hotels, and theaters. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
