On a pleated yellow nape rests a silver teapot surmounted by an eagle on the cabochon. At the end of the teapot, there is a small basket to collect the drops. The teapot is in the taste of Gallia Christofle.
Next to him, a blue porcelain cup and finely decorated in the taste of refined porcelain of Creil and Montereau with his little spoon.
Behind the teapot, we see the sugar pot with its silver pliers.
In the last plan, there is a glass bottle where it is written "rum".

This table is interesting because it poses the contrasts of the materials (silver metal, porcelain, fabric and glass) and brings together precious materials by their material and color (silver, golden tablecloth, white porcelain) and their preciousness of the container and content.
It’s a very nice tea scene.
We feel the imposing and solid presence of the teapot as well as its delicacy and its preciousness.

Henry Ducloux (1860-1930) is an impressionist French painter from the end of the 19th, early 20th which made impressionist landscapes in the south of France and still lifes.
This painter is unfortunately too rare on the art market.
His work was exhibited at the "Le Yaca" gallery in Saint Tropez, on the azure coast.
