It is almost like a sculpture, I am not sure about the materials used it looks like some kind of plastic or resin over a board. It is one of my favorite finds to date. It is signed by Nuñez, dated 1968 and named Apollo. 
Minor discoloration on the linen covered frame is visible but the painting/sculpture is in great condition.
It measures 22" by 19 1/2" including the frame and 13" by 10 1/2" without the frame.
