A striking and refined example of mid-20th century English craftsmanship, this elegant Georgian-style Chinoiserie toleware antique urn has been masterfully converted into a table lamp.
The piece features an elaborate raised black lacquered enamel finish richly accented with gilt detailing. Distinguished by its classical urn form, it is adorned with gilt lion head knockers and supported by three scrolled serpentine legs that rest gracefully on a trefoil-shaped tray base. The ensemble is completed with black and gold gilt bun feet, adding to its regal presence.
