Some goes into the restoration process to increase its value, if we think it needs that. All restoration work is explained on this 'condition details' page if performed. This beautiful sofa is near brand new condition, possibly it's been kept in a very quite room and used occasionally in its past. When look closely, just a few very minor imperfections can be seen. We reconditioned the sofa overall, tightened some buttons, cleaned hidden areas. Wood frame and legs are sturdy, cushion and leather all in excellent condition. less
