It is edged with carved acanthus leaf decoration, supported by a pedestal with boldly carved anthemion motifs and a plinth with carved gadrooning raised on four body carved feet with scrolled acanthus leaf decoration. With its bold carving and exquisite rosewood surface, this table was likely made for the Anglo-Indian market.
