A set of six, Sterling Silver cocktail or hors d’ oeuvres picks with oval Lapis Lazuli stones, circa 1960-1970.
Showing a charming hand made quality, the pieces have twisted stems, ending in sharp double-pronged picks. The lovely blue, flat cabochon cut lapis stones are set into a bezel.
Lapis lazuli is a deep-blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone that has been prized since antiquity for its intense color.
The picks are 3.5 in. L x .50 in. W.
Each stone is .75 in. L x .50 in. W.
Marked: Stamped 970
Total Weight: .922 Troy ounces.
