Graceful and feminine, Venus is meticulously sculpted. The details brought to this work are remarkable.
Venus is standing lasciviously, lying down, with her head resting on her left hand and holding a mirror in her left hand.
The sculpture, signed Saccardi Firenze, rests on a base of veined black portor marble bearing a plaque engraved "J-Gimilini Nantes".
A work that despite some restorations remains of a rare beauty.
