Formed in Faenza, where he attended the art institute for ceramic, in Palermo he opened the "Maiolici d'Arte de Simone" laboratory in Palermo in the 1950s, where he dedicated himself to the production of use ceramics and decorative tiles from coating and D 'traditional and hand painted furniture. Over the years it became one of the major representatives of Sicilian ceramics. Its evolution as an artist leads him to carry out works inspired by primitivism at a later time but characterized by a burlesque and festive vein with demeanes with bright colors enamels, often thickly given, such as objects of use for furnishing furnishings and marked sculptures in Traditional and modern style.
