the viennese art furniture factory julius & josef herrmann, founded in 1878, had a wide range of high -quality luxury furniture. In the best quality, it produced furniture for artistic designs, also for french or english patterns, and participated in various exhibitions, including in the austrian museum, today's mak.

it was only the exhibition of the scottish avant -garde, which was shown in the secession in 1900 under the leadership of charles rennie mackintosh, was probably one of the most important inspiration for viennese modernity.
