What is a credenza desk?
A credenza desk is a standard desk that is paired with a credenza. Important to note is that the credenza is not usually attached to the desk, but rather it is a separate piece of furniture that is used in conjunction with a desk. In a typical credenza desk scenario, the credenza is usually placed against a wall, directly behind a desk. The idea is, is that when seated at the desk in an office chair, it is easy for whoever is working at the desk to swivel and utilize the credenza’s workspace without having to get up. Oftentimes, the credenza will be utilized as a place to store bulky office equipment like printers or fax machines. Because the credenza and desk are unattached it isn’t common to find credenza desks for sale. Generally, manufacturers will design a desk and a credenza as part of an office collection and the two pieces can be purchased as a set, if desired.
