An ever-growing space for trend-spotting, risk-taking, and sheer creativity, Instagram is the new motherlode for design inspiration. To help spark your next genius decorating idea, we’ve asked a few of our favorite designers to share the accounts that always stop them mid-scroll. Give your feed a good fall refresh by following this group of inspiring accounts.

Chris Goddard, Goddard Design Group
“I often hear designers say they don’t want to follow too many, but I take the opposite approach—I follow everyone that inspires me or sparks my interest. I, of course, follow my friends and favorite designers as well the brands we use regularly on projects, but my current favorites tend to follow my passion for thinking outside the box. I love the diverse inspiration of @ashleystark, the timeless elegance of @alidad_ltd, modern moments from @colinking, a sprinkling of all things fabulous from @secretsofahostess, classic architecture from @graciousopulence, fashion and color trends from @driesvannoten. For a laugh, I go to @garyjanetti and for constant visual delight I look to my happy place @lamamouniamarrakech. There is so much inspiration we are all inundated with daily, and I tend to hit follow on any page that catches my eye. You never know where you may find that spark of creativity that’ll ignite your own imagination.”

Hannah Crowell, Crowell + Company Interiors
“I absolutely love @interiorhints! I adore every space that they post. Usually all white walls and lots of color and quirk in the accessories and art which is very me. @theshinysquirrel is one I recently discovered and I save almost all of her posts, I love them so much. Interiors, nail art, random images. I get a lot of inspiration from her feed in all kinds of different ways.”

Peti Lau, Peti Lau Inc.
“I follow so many—oh my goodness!—so hard to narrow down. A wide variety between florals, interior designers, architect and builders, fashion designers, travel bloggers, and foodies! If I had to select my top favs, they would be @renkofloral and @jamiebeck.co for florals, @kellywearstler@thelsd, @sabinegetty, @leoniehanne, @architecturehunter, and of course @ashleystark. Ashley is not only a friend, but she’s become my Pinterest-like inspiration on Instagram!”

Paloma Contreras, Paloma Contreras Interior Design
“There are so many! My entire feed is basically design and dog focused. I love following @jeffreybilhuber and @veeregrenney because I adore their work. Editor-in-Chief of ELLE Decor Whitney Robinson @whowhatwhit and AD Editor-in-Chief @amyastley are also fun to follow because they always travel somewhere fabulous, attend chic parties, and most importantly often share interiors by the industry’s top talents before the new issues of their magazines hit the newsstands.”

Rebecca Cox & Debra Vigna, Lily Spindle
“We’re obsessed with designers embodying a sophisticated, refreshing, surprising, and downright fearless attitude in their work when it comes to the use of color, pattern, and integration of art. @Reathdesign, @BeataHeuman, @StudioShamshiri, and @KornerInteriors pretty regularly and fabulously knock it out of the park with all their posts—just wonderfully lush and provocative. For a dose of seriously outstanding, inspiring MCM architecture and furniture, we adore and recommend a dip into the world of @DC_Hillier. @TheArtofObject is delicious, colorful design too—from lighting to art to ceramics and everything in between.”

Katie Hodges, Katie Hodges Design
@discinteriors, @clementsdesign, and @heidicaillerdesign are my current favorites. The mood that their interiors embody strikes a chord with where my design head is at these days. Each account has something different to offer, but I especially enjoy Heidi’s behind the scenes stories.”

Ginny Macdonald, Ginny Macdonald Design
@jhinteriordesign is my all-time fave account to follow for design inspiration. Everything they touch has so much soul, consideration and attention to detail. They mix a lot of vintage with custom and everything feels so timeless. I’d live in any one of their designs and when I grow up I want to be a designer like Jessica!”

Jessica McCarthy, JAM Creative Studio
“It is almost impossible to choose one! I repost from @carawoodhouseinteriors more than any other design account I follow. Her designs are incredibly original and aspirational, combining mostly custom and vintage pieces with bold patterns and colors. @alyssarosenheck is not only a dear friend of mine but one of the most talented photographers in the industry. I have been lucky enough to work with her on past projects and look to her Instagram for not just design inspiration but life inspiration. She is a positive light of energy and her outlook on life is something everyone can benefit from!”
