The 17th biennial Lake Forest Showhouse & Gardens is underway through May 21, 2017, bringing together more than 30 designers who have transformed a Howard Van Doren Shaw-designed estate, which is set on more than two acres. The property, which was built in 1922 and renovated in 2009, features five bedrooms as well as five-and-a-half baths, and a five-room coach house equipped with a kitchen.

This year’s honorary chair is interior designer Mark D. Sikes. More than 30 designers are participating, including Susan Brunstrum of Sweet Peas Design, Michael Del Piero Good Design, Jodi Morton of 2to5 Design and Wendy Labrum Interiors.
