I’m Tommy Lei, a Pasadena and Los Angeles-based, Chinese-American fine art photographer. My work is about stillness, presence, and a poetic sense of place: blending photography with painterly touches to create compositions that feel both contemplative and visually striking. My works have been exhibited in galleries and museums and are part of private collections across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Here on Chairish, I am presenting select photographs from my practice. Each print is made on archival pigment papers sourced from Canson Infinity, the storied paper house whose origins date back to 1557 by the Montgolfier family in the Beaujolais region and the South of France. I strive to create artwork that resonates in thoughtfully curated homes, upscale residences, and refined commercial spaces. This series designed to bring a sense of endless joy and vibration into interiors, whether it’s a living room, bedroom, nursery, or corporate space.
