    Shop Banner

Antiques, Collectibles, Treasures & Vintage Furniture. Red Depot Antiques is a third generation antiques, collectibles, treasured "junk" and vintage furniture shop begun by Beecher and Mabel Lane in Algona, Iowa during their retirement. Beecher Lane was once known as the "wildest trader in town" (Algona Upper Des Moines newspaper, Thursday February 5, 1976). Purchased by the Lanes, the "Red Depot" was once the old Minneapolis and St. Louis railroad depot located on Elm St. in Algona. The "red depot" building was destroyed by a tornado on June 28, 1979. Red Depot Antiques is now managed by Mabel and Beecher Lane's granddaughters.
