Established in 2002, Tom Dixon is a British design and manufacturing company of lighting and furniture. Dixon first got his start when he began welding pieces of car parts together to create one-of-a-kind chairs. These unique pieces put him on the map, after which he later became known for the S-Chair and Pylon chair. With a commitment to innovation and a mission to revive the British furniture industry, Tom Dixon now manufactures more than just chairs, developing items for everyday use including wall lights, pendants, table and task lamps, chandeliers, accessories, and furniture.
