It features a woman holding two golden balls, making it look like she's doing some sort of exercise. The statue is made from a high-quality spelter that was covered in silver (and not just silver paint). The two balls that she's holding appear to have been gilded and have a lovely glow to them. Speaking of glow, the real magic of this lamp appears when you turn it on and see the warm light filtering through the white, green and brown onyx. I love turning off all the lights in my living room so I can enjoy the beauty of my Art Deco lamps. This lamp is in very good vintage condition with a few minor flea bites on the onyx base. This piece is an authentic item from the Art Deco period (1920's to 1930's).

The total height of this lamp is 13" (32 cm). The onyx base measures 6 5/8" (16.8 cm) long by 3 7/8" (9.8 cm) wide by 4 1/4" (10.5 cm) tall. I had the original bayonet socket, European plug and cord replaced so that you can use an American chandelier light bulb in the base. less
