I'm a third generation dealer, and bought my first piece way back in 1973, when I was ten years old. We no longer have a physical shop and I'm finding that I don't miss it at all. The Internet has provided dealers and collectors with many new resources.
Over the years we have become a notable and trusted resource for many prominent collectors, interior designers and film production companies. We furnished the Edison & Ford Winter Estates Museum, in Fort Myers, Florida, and we've represented several other prominent museums at auction.

A few notes about King's Grant Antiques:

    1. We usually list our items as being in "good" condition with "wear consistent with age and use", but will note "very good", "excellent" or even "like new" condition when merited. We prefer our clients to be pleasantly surprised, and we have not yet had an item returned. If we have found significant flaws that go beyond age appropriate wear, we always describe them in the Condition section.

    2. If we restore an item, or observe that an item has been repaired, restored or altered by previous owners, we always make note of that. When we do work on pieces we go for an "old but well cared for" rather than "new" look. Most people prefer vintage items to have some 'patina'.

    3. Chairish shipping quotes tend to be the best. While there are some circumstances when we may be able to beat them -- and we can almost always get it to you faster for an additional charge -- we cannot very often ship it for less. We are happy to accommodate your wishes.

    4. At King's Grant Antiques we care about our customers and want to give you the best products and service possible. We want you to shop with us again. We try to respond to messages within minutes, but in no event does it TYPICALLY take more than a few hours to get back to you.
