I grew up antiquing and appreciated high end quality furniture through spending time with my Aunt. We spent a great deal of time in Colonial Williamsburg where I truly developed the love of cherry, Queen Anne style furniture.
So as I got older and could afford to purchase higher end quality furniture, I did. I felt it a personal investment for me and exuded much happiness as I just enjoyed its beauty and comfort.
Sadly I got divorced and took most of this furniture with me however I have since remarried and we are looking forward to making things "our" home.
As the saying goes, "out with the old, in with the new" and I'm trying a whole new line of colors, styles and things with my new husband and I can enjoy together.
