Welcome to the Vanity Fair Gallery featuring original British prints with caricatures of statesmen, judges and "men of the day." First published in 1869, eventually 2300 caricatures were featured in Vanity Fair until it ceased publication in 1914. During this time 24 different artists created the portraits that became instantly recognizable in terms of style and size – and a mark of honor for their “victim”. All of the portraits in our shop are original chromolithographs from the year shown - not reproductions. Each is accompanied by the original satirical “biography” published with the portrait. We look forward to adding new caricatures on a regular basis drawn from our extensive collection of original Vanity Fair prints. Enjoy your visit to the Vanity Fair Gallery!
