The motivation for my art is driven by my fascination with the incongruities and conflicting self-deceptions created by the struggle between our primal and modern selves. I see each piece as a part of an expanding contemporary collection of visual sutras. A discourse, if you will. To be pondered, absorbed, considered and discussed. My work has an organic appearance, yet it is in fact rendered digitally. Still, this process is done purely by hand with a digital 6B pencil.
