While she's rarely at a loss for words, Denver artist Sophie Hoad Halma prefers to communicate using color, light, and line. Halma's childhood dream was to be an artist. Or to bake pies - maybe both. Halma worked for years as a marketer for a luxury travel company, a passion second only to her painting. Travel opportunities have been heavy influencers in her work and the subject matter she chooses to feature, including animals, leisure, celebrations, landscape, and travel.
