Having begun collecting at the age of 12, you could say I was destined for this field. I have been in the business of buying and selling fine antiques and decorative arts since graduating from the Courtauld Institute of Art in 2010, and I have enjoyed every minute. Always on the hunt for extraordinary rarities or just fun but beautiful utilitarian objects, it is my pleasure to bring you a tightly curated collection of fine home decor, whether you are a designer or private collector. My passion is European and American work from the "long 18th century" (roughly 1688 to 1837) with its chinoiserie, polished woods, gleaming crystal and silver, hand-painted porcelain, and gilt wood mirrors. It really is just as chic today as it was centuries ago. However, I have a soft spot for other periods as well, namely the Aesthetic Movement with its truly visionary designers like William Morris, George Jones, and Christopher Dresser. I also find the work of a few early 20th-century designers such as Clara Driscoll, Frederick Carder, and Daisy Makeig-Jones to be incredibly inspiring.
