Marks & Frantz have been selected to design a room at this year's prestigious Holiday House Design Show. They chose the theme of "Game Night," because they say they are now designing upscale and unplugged game rooms for their clients more and more. They have just completed three in New York, Connecticut and Nantucket homes. The pair have created the ultimate retreat at Holiday House, complete with an inlaid shagreen chess table, a bespoke shuffleboard table, a handprinted backgammon set, two bars and furnishings by leading luxury brands including fabrics by Dedar, wallpaper from Cole & Sons, furniture from Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman, The New Traditionalists, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, art from the Sears Peyton Gallery and custom drapery by Marks & Tavano Workroom. The house benefits the Breast Cancer research Fund and will be open daily at the Academy Mansion, 2 East 63rd Street in NYC from November 11 through December 1.

Based on a chair designed by Lydia Marks for an upcoming motion picture starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts, Marks & Frantz' new 'Philippe' chair debuted during market days at the Chicago Merchandise Mart. More than 100 designers gathered at the Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman showroom to see the newest chair in the design duo's line unveiled and to hear them speak about the connection between their iconic and fashion-forward film sets and the interiors and products they design for American homeowners. The chair will make its film debut in Spring 2016.
Fashion Group International has awarded Marks & Frantz Design the 2015 Rising Star Award for Home and Interiors.
