Jeanne Player is passionate about all things art. She attended the University of North Carolina and graduated with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. After years of working in radio and real estate sales she decided to pursue her lifelong dream of painting.

She finds painting brings her a sense of peace as she recreates the world around her on canvas. She is inspired by her love of wide open spaces and the sense of freedom those environments bring. She enjoys color in her life and art often mixing unique color combinations. She enjoys painting landscapes, seascapes, figures and florals. She typically works with acrylic paints because of the fast drying time using a combination of palette knives and brushes. Movement and texture are also important aspects of her painting style. She likes to build layer upon layer in her art.
