    About

High-end live edge wood furniture design located in San Diego, CA.

Locally sourced timber of felled trees due to wind damage, root rot, and beetle infestation. No trees are harmed in the making of my furniture; I save dead trees from the shredder and bring them back to life.

High-end redwood slab furniture is the heart of my business. Our proximity to the coastal Redwood forest provides endless amounts of sustainable, world renowned Redwood timber. My portfolio boasts beautiful hand crafted live edge slab dining tables, counter tops, benches, headboards, coffee tables and more. Although we are abundant in Redwood, we offer beautiful locally felled Claro Walnut, Elm and much more. No project is too big or too small.

“Everything you can imagine is real.”

    -Pablo Picaso

Each slab is carefully hand crafted from start to finish. From the moment the tree is felled, we hand mill each slab using an Alaskan chain saw mill. For those of you not familiar, an Alaskan chainsaw mill is a 6 foot long chain saw operated by a man on either side guiding it down the length of the tree. Each hand cut slab is carefully re-stacked with spacers in-between to allow air flow and moisture to exit the slabs. The drying process takes 9-12 months for Redwood, and 3-5 years for harder woods such as Elm and Walnut. Once the moisture content of the slab reaches 0-10% the wood is ready to be worked. Each piece is then hand cut, shaped, sanded and finished. No part of the process is automated or machine made.

No two pieces are alike. Each piece is unique and one of a kind.
