Casa Quieta is a furniture & accessories showroom that promotes local manufacturing by merging artisan techniques with contemporary design. Our showroom is located inside a 20th century Art Deco building in Campos Eliseos street, Polanco, Mexico City. We open by appointment only. The showroom concept is to show a fully furnished and accesorized shoppable apartment where everything can be bought. We are moved by the creation of sanctuaries that result in places of calm. Our selection dynamics operate through an organic curation of our favorite pieces. We seek to show contemporary design only, handmade in Mexico with artisan processes. All the furniture is our own design and for accessories we seek to collaborate with designers that complement and combine with the universe and aesthetics of Casa Quieta. Casa Quieta was founded by Maritza Lara Cáceres and Daniel Cruz Maldonado. They are both passionate architects leading their design studios, Capital Studio and Cotidiano, respectively.
